Its roots date back to 1976, when a prominent local family founded the Union Transporting and Contracting Company (UTCC). The name may have changed, but the company remains bound together by the family-based values of its founders.
Today, Wade Adams works across the commercial, industrial and residential sectors, specialising in all aspects of design and build, EPIC and employer construction services. It has built up an impressive portfolio of large-scale projects across the region, including airports, dams, roads and bridges, district cooling, residential infrastructure, and utility networks.

With a firm order book of Dhs 4 billion (USD 1.1 billion) as of the end of 2015, it has a team of more than 11,000 employees, and strategic investments in land, buildings (including its own labour camps), plants and equipment.
